OBJ block model is not working for me
Wed, 02/06/2019 - 13:21 (edited)

Hello!

I am working in MCreator 1.8.2. For some reason my OBJ model works incorrectly.

This is how it should be:
*how it should be*

And this is how it works:
*fail1**fail2*

*fail3*

This model is much more bigger then it should be and textures are gone. MTL file was also imported.

I am using BlockBench and CubikStudio for modelling. Tried both of them.

Hope to get support here. Thank you for your time and have a nice day :)

Minecraft only supports basic OBJ models with solid colors for materials. You can not use UV mapped textures.

You can have textured OBJ Block Models!

Blockstate

https://github.com/PC-Logix/OpenPrinter/blob/1.12.1/src/main/resources/assets/openprinter/blockstates/printer.json

MTL Lib mapped to texture:

I'm not sure which one of both is required, but that way you can link a texture. See the attached Screenshot with the Printer Model
