There is no button for importing custom models

Status
Works as designed
Issue description

I am unable to select my custom model in the living entity. I am able to import the model and textures just fine, but there is no option to select the model. It is only with the model option. It only allows me to use built-in models.

Issue comments

I have a JAVA model, but when I import it, it says "Your model is not a valid JAVA model". I looked in the files, and it says java. I made the model in Blockbench.

Did you check the website forum, this is a common problem with users forgetting to name the model or naming it incorrectly (eg. whitespace in the name)

I'm not sure what the problem is. My file is named "bird.java".  In Blockbench, the model is called "bird.bbmodel". I will look for videos about exporting models. Also sorry for the late reply.

bird.bbmodel is not valid Java model name. You can not have dots, whitespace, etc. in your model or part names.

The name of the model in Blockbench is named "bird.bbmodel". The actual file is called "bird.java". When I upload it to mcreator with the import java button, it shows up. It is only when i click it that it says that the java model is not valid. The exact words of the error message are: "Your model is not a valid java model! Make sure that all model parts have a valid java name and that your model parts have a valid Java name and that your model is in fact Java model with a valid syntax.

You can not have dots, whitespace, etc. in your model or part names. Model name is not file name.

bird.bbmodel

Sorry for replying so late. (Like 5 months late lol.) I believe the problem was that my computer was outdated and very slow. I purchased a new computer and downloaded the latest version of mcreator, and everything is working perfectly! Thank you so much for your help.
