Hello! To be straight forward, I have 0% coding experience! Though, I have heard that MCreator helps out with that..
Does anyone know how to utilize the program to make a simple hat mod? I wanted to make something personal for my friends, and I think this would be a nice start to get a grip on MCreator and how it works. Thanks to those who help!

That is certainly not possible in MCreator, and very difficult in code. If anything, make your own GUI to set these values and then make custom layers. However, layers are not possible in MCreator and need to be coded as well.
Just mkae a custom helmet with custom model.
