Structure chest cannot be customized

I wanted to make a structure that spawns with chest and the structure's chest can contain many different sorts of things, but I don't know how to and I don't want to use command blocks to customize the chests because it is troublesome and I want to survive in my world with this mod loaded. Is there a way or is it not designed?
