How to make blocks use End Rod-type rotation

So I have this thorn-like block, and I need it to be able to be placed in all six directions. The problem is, none of the default rotation presets allow this. I tried using log rotation, but it seems to only work with three of the six directions, as placing it against the back of a block places it backward. I want the thorn to always be sticking out from the block face it's placed on.

Thanks in advance!

Bumping is not allowed (seems you did not read https://mcreator.net/wiki/general-publishing-guidelines yet, so do now please).

I think you should use D/U/N/S/W/E rotation for this, there is no more verbose rotation mode in MC by default.
