How can I update my mod to a newer version such as 1.16 right now its in 1.15.2

I have a Mod called Miners Plus and I want to update it to a newer version of Minecraft its currently in 1.15.2 but I want to make it 1.16+ is there a tutorial or any way I can do this? pls help!

You can find a tutorial here, except I highly recommend you back up your mod that you're are planning on updating, and I cannot it will work at all, and some elements are not supported.
