The second 2021.1 snapshot is here. This snapshot fixes some bugs reported by the community and adds some very interesting new features. More in the article!

  • Added option for custom blocks and plants to colorize with foliage, grass, or water

Minecraft 1.16.5

Minecraft 1.16.5 was released a few days ago. We plan to add support for this version in the third snapshot, after a recommended Minecraft Forge release for 1.16.5 is available. MCreator Link support for 1.16.5 is planned too. We are also working on some more features for this release. Translators are also welcome to join us and help translate MCreator to as many languages as possible.

Make sure to tell us what you think about the update in the comments, test out the snapshot, and report bugs (only by you reporting the bugs properly, we can assure a bug-free release) in the snapshot. Keep on modding!

        Do you think we could get a option for Entities to have them hop around like slimes instead of walking?
        I tried doing this by making the ai for my mob template a slime, but it's basically just a glorified retextured slime that cant even visually shrink or glow. :)

        It has always puzzled me. How many downloads does Mcreator have in total?

        I love mcreator. I love how simple you can make a mod but also make very complex procedures! So I have made over 8 mods so far with over 1000 mod elements!
        I like the delay funktion! So it makes delays so much easier instead of having a number rising and set it to 0 when the max value is lower than the number.
        Only one question: Why is MCreator based on instable Java? Is that the only way to compile the mod?

        I have a mod in mcreator 2020.5 and wanted to know if updating mcreator to this snapshot endangers my mod? if it does, how are backup copies made?
