Procedure not showing anything

NOTE: I use an outdated version of MCreator (2020.2) since my mod is specifically for 1.12.2

I created a moderately large procedure (about 260 blocks) and I need to edit and fix a specific part of it in order to make it function the way I want it, however when I come back to try and edit it, it just shows a blank screen with none of the blocks in my procedure shown on my screen. The only thing that shows is a small blue button with a gear icon, and when I click it a giant white rectangle appears and does nothing.

It lets me add new blocks to the procedure but when I click save and then reopen it, it still shows a blank screen with the block I just put there not existing either. I've experienced this issue in the past and I believe I managed to fix it, but I haven't used MCreator in a while so the answer escapes my memory.

Right clicking on the blank screen still brings up the undo and redo options aswell as "Clean up Blocks", "Collapse Blocks", "Expand Blocks", and "Delete 274 Blocks", but none of them really do anything noticable. I have tried restarting MCreator and when that didn't work I tried restarting my computer aswell as trying "Regenerate code and build", however none of those options seemed to do anything.

I have tested it in-game and it works completely fine, I just currently can't edit it.

I believe there are two other topics with this issue, but they are both from older versions of MCreator and/or the answers other people have given to those modders doesn't seem to help me on this version of MCreator. If anyone has a solution to this highly frustrating issue, please inform me. Thank you in advance

Unsure if this image will show, but it's what I see when I attempt to edit the procedure.Image of what I see when I attempt to edit this procedure. There's literally nothing except the useless blue button.

I'm unsure how well it will work since I haven't used it, but I believe the best course of action would be to use the 1.12.2 plugin on a newer version of MCreator, rather than using the now deprecated built-in 1.12.2 functionality from older versions. Since the plugin is likely more functional than the older MCreator version this issue likely won't be too common, so all 1.12.2 modders should probably use that instead.

I have no clue why Goldorion couldn't have just said that rather than completely ignoring everything and simply responding with "No support for old versions", no offense.
