This is an old issue when developing on Mac. Mac seems to like dropping random DS_Store folders all over the place and one has been placed in your MCreator workspace folder, causing issues. Navigate to your workspace folder (I don't use Mac, but this thread seems helpful) and look for folders called DS_Store, delete any that you find.
Both the MCreator folder and these bad folders are hidden, refer here if you don't know how to access hidden folders. Hope this helps!
oh, i remember this. i was getting this issue a while ago. i know how to fix this. thank you!
I just tried finding the DS_Store folder and i couldn't find anything. I did command shift period to show hidden folders and it wasn't there. How should I fix this? I looked in .mcreator and my workspace folder. Is there a certain directory I'm supposed to be looking in? Thanks!
As annoying as it is you may just need to check through each directory in your workspace and search for DS_Store folders.
I searched every file and did a whole computer search and it didn't come up with any files or folders named DS_Store.
Is anyone gonna help with this?
classic mcreator forum. I get a reply in the beginning about how to fix it but it never works and then no one looks at the post again.
