creating an attack animation with a custom model

hello,

i was wondering if it was possible to add an animation to a custom model such as an attack animation ( nothing fancy, just an arm motion like the player's attack ).

if it is possible, how do you make it? i'm guessing you might need some coding knowledge of the sort and might need to use the free coding mode on the mcreator software.

It isn't supported with the basic Mcreator code- but there are plugins for this. You can download something like Obfuscate or Geckolib to do custom animations. (Though I haven't had need of this myself, it seems like a pretty decent system.) There's more than one plugin for this, and they should be available on the Mcreator website.
