Go to C:\Users\<username>\.mcreator and delete that file, ".mcreator" but make sure to make a back-up of your mods or else you might delete them in the process, if this helped anyone, then I'm happy.
This is for if you can't open, load, or create new mods in MCreator, NOT IF MCREATOR ISN'T OPENING OR ANY OTHER ISSUE.
This will revert settings, delete logs and plugins so I would advise against using this method
