Mr Crayfish Model Creator Texturing in MCreator.

I use Mr Crayfish Model Creator to create custom block models, and when I open up Minecraft the model works, but the textures that I assigned in the model Creator don't show up. MCreator does ask me to select three textures but whenever I put the textures in them the entire model is on of those textures. I use two textures for my custom model, and it only shows one of them, only if I put them in the boxes that MCreator shows me. If I leave the boxes blank it shows up as a missing texture in Minecraft. Can anyone help please. If you need anymore information let me know, Thanks in Advance.

What I did to get around this
Thu, 12/17/2015 - 18:01

What I did to get around this was simply combine the multiple textures into a single texture. For example: let's say I'm making a chair with wooden legs and a redcloth seat. I would need two textures, one red cloth, and one wood. I would take the two 16x16 textures and combine them on a 32x32 texture. Mr. Crayfish's Model maker doesn't like anything but a 16x16 texture, so I make a dummy 16x16 which has the base colors im using. After creating the model, I add the dummy texture, to set the UV coordinates, then when I import the model into MCreator, I use the 32x32 texture, which gives better detail to my model, while still keeping it at 1 texture.

I can get it to run but idk

I can get it to run but idk how to make a texture for it. It works with a solid texture, but I need to figure out how to make a texture that will fit the mesh perfectly.
