 So I am making a mod that adds a ton of building blocks for creative use, but also a bunch of noice survival-obtainable blocks such as new stone types. Many new dimension will be added, some of which can be visisted early-ish in survival mode. This is a list of the dimensions I have made so far/will be adding soon:

- The Deep Nether - A tougher, darker version of the nether                                                                       Status: Pretty much finished

- The Caverns - A overworld stone based dimension like the nether with lots of diamond, gold and iron         Status: Pretty much finished

- The Jungle Islands - A huge end like island which is a jungle, many smaller islands can be found              Status: WIP

- The Reverse World - A void-like dimension with overworld blocks scattered around                                   Status: Not started

- The Void - An empty dimension                                                                                                            Status: Not started

- The Spirit world - will either be nether like or overworld like with multiple biomes                                       Status: Hardly thought about

 

SO if anyone has any ideas, please comment. If your idea gets into development, I will credit you when the mod is finished :)

I think the Void could use a

I think the Void could use a structure, such as an Overworld-dungeon design that spawns really hard to beat mobs (with 2 or even 4 spawners instead of 1, because that's harder) but inside the chests are exclusive/super rare things like a Voidtanium Block or something that cannot be mined without a Void Pickaxe (and a Void Pickaxe, obviously). I also think that if you make the Spirit World it should be renamed to the Spirit Realm. Just my opinion. You seem to be without limit, so I think you can do this.

As for ideas, I think you could add an Atlantis dimension. Basically it spawns you on an island or in an underwater structure or something and 99%, if not the entire dimension is underwater. You'll need lots of Water Breathing and Depth Strider, and Dark Prismarine to make the portal. There are two types of structures in this dimension: a "Submarine" with two Scientists (that have 90 health and like potions) and some redstone or something as a reward, and a "City of Lantea" structure that functions a lot like a Nether Fortress, with such things as passive Mermaids that heal hostile Soldiers with 40 health and a decent amount of damage. The City has a center area that allows you to fight Triton, a humanoid boss with 600 health and a trident that he uses to attack you for a lot of damage. As a reward, you get his trident.

I just came up with this idea in about 12 minutes, and it's quite detailed, don't you agree?

@#1 Looks good! Here's what I though about your ideas:

- The void structure sounds good, but as far as I am aware, spawners do not work when generating a structure - they just become a pig spawner.

- Spirit Realm sounds better - thanks!

- Voidtanium sounds good - perhaps Voidium or Voidusium sounds better?

- The atlantis dimension sounds the best - 2 problems, one, since this post I have added a waterfalls dimension with guardians, prismarine and custom prismarine ores, two, big structures cannot be generated as java cannot cope with huge lines of code

- Mermaids - may add to the mod

- Triton - sounds good as well, I may do some work with custom mob models so if I have time I may add this, although boss spawning is difficult in MCreator - you can make an item that spawns a boss on right click, a block which spawns a boss on right click, or anything similar. The trident and all that sounds good too. In fact, I was thinking about adding a "Mace of the Deep" anyway.

I agree it is very detailed. A comment like yours was exactly what I was hoping for!
