How do I make and import structures to MCreator on Mac?

How do I make and import structures to MCreator on Mac? I am planning to make a GIGANTIC mod that requires a lot of structures. I'm good at building and already have a few structures ready but how do I import them and make them naturally spawn on a Mac?

To import a structure, in the workspace on the left side there are many tabs/button things

One says "structures"

From there you can import a schematic file and use it as a structure

You just need the structure mod element to actually use it

A month late, but the best way to get structures is to save it as a .nbt file by capturing the structure with structure blocks. If you are doing this on the mcreator client then you can choose to import from world in the software, but if you do it separately you need to find the .nbt in the game files and import it by dragging it into the software.
