I am stuck on 'Setting Up Minecraft Forge MDK' in the process of getAsset. It has said 'Current status: 1299/1305 99%' for the past eight hours adding a new line saying the same thing about every five seconds. Other than that it seems that everything in the setup continued as normal until now.
This most likely means your internet connection got interrupted. The best thing would be to run the setup again.
I ran it again and the same thing happened. I have a poor internet connection, but it is steady. I don't think I was disconnected.
