Help with importing models from CAD software

Hello forums,

I was wondering if anyone can help me with a project i am working on. I am trying to import an OBJ file with MTL created in solidworks into the software and i continuously get the purple and black square and not me geometry. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated with this! Thank you!

You can import OBJ model, but the materials need to be solid colors only for textures to work.

I have it set as a solid color and it does not work. I have used obj files with the mtl file many times before for 3D printing, but i am not having any luck with it.

You do not use solid colors…

You do not use solid colors only based on the error:

Model 'testenvironmentmod:models/item/cube.obj' has UVs ('vt') out of bounds 0-1! The missing model will be used instead. Support for UV processing will be added to the OBJ loader in the future.

I do not know what you mean by UV's. I have not come across this yet. How is it possible to make custom shaped blocks then? the JSON method seems to be a way to build off preexisting blocks.
