Adding a recipe for a portal igniter

Hi, I'm currently trying to implement a new dimension. It is mostly working, but the portal igniter has no recipe. When I try to create one, I cannot find the item in the selection menu. Is there a special way I need to create recipes for portal ignition devices?

It is also worth noting that I have tried creating a new item with the exact same name and texture, but then it cannot light the portal.
