Sword with Fire Aspect
Tue, 01/20/2015 - 22:41

Hey guys,

how can I entchant a sword by crafting it.

I mean I put my "ingredients" into the crafting field and when I get the sword out of the crafting table it should have fire aspect 1.

I hope you can help me :)

I understand that Wes

I understand that Wes answered this already but I am going to go a little further in depth.

Ok so what you want to do is be safe and make sure that the sword you want to have fire aspect has a crafting recipe that is impossible in vanilla.(So make it like a piece of bedrock or something) Then what you are going to want to do is click on create new element-> recipe. Then make the recipe you want to and on the right it will ask you to select the output so select that. Then you will have the possibility to add an enchantment. Find fire aspect, add the value, then presto you have it.

*You make the original recipe something impossible in vanilla that way you don't have the possibility that the player crafts the item without the enchantment.

@#2  Well you know that when you meaking sword you can skip original crafting

So IF you don't make recipe when making sword the whole code for recipe will be not created

@#2.1 thanks for your help :)
Is it possible to create an "automatic breading function" for a pickaxe.
For example I destroy iron-ore and I get Iron ingot
