Mod dependencies and possible soft points.

I am making a large modpack (that may or may not be completed) that will be heavily based on the one mod that I am creating and I want to create dependencies with other mods and make them all come as one not as seperate mods (it isn't a kitchen sink modpack) but I would like to know if taking out or importing to next versions will break the whole mod which will eventually be very large so I don't want to lose everything. Any thoughts?

Also for more complicated things to be added that are not easy or not possible within Mcreator I will have a seperate mod made in a Java setup, but for quicker creation and the fact that I am not great at Java or making minecraft Java mods specifically it is in both but will be essentially the same mod and cooperate to be the core mods for the modpack.
