Generated structures
Fri, 06/19/2015 - 17:03

Hi, I'm pretty new to MCreator, but have started my first Mod called "Extra Ruins".

I would like to know if it is possible to have a structure generated half in the ground and have above ground.

I have a Well structure and I want it to be similar to wells found in NPC villages, with the frame above ground but the water reaching under the ground.

Thanks,

Tarix819

Thankyou.

I hope this becomes an option soon.

1. Build your well half…

1. Build your well half underground, half above.

2. Download MCEdit 2, a world-editing program.

3. Open the world you built your structure in in MCEdit 2.

4. Select your structure.

5. Click 'Export.'

6. Click 'Export Schematic' (or something like that--it should say something about a schematic) in the drop-down menu.

7. Name it whatever you want (the name 'Well' sounds appropriate).

8. Save it.

9. Import the structure into MCreator. It "should" honor the fact that the structure was built partially underground.

10. Done! I hope I helped.
