Changing Player model/skin
Thu, 08/20/2015 - 21:09

I am making a mod that will be pretty cool once finished. I may put it on this website once done. The thing is I am not very good at coding in java (just learning). I want my players skin/model to change the texture to a random skin texture. I was thinking if anyone can help me that will be great. It will be fine if I can do some coding because I know the basics of the programming language.

I mean like the Morph mod or Dalek Mod. In the dalek mod you can get Rivers diary to changed your character. I want to be able to do something like that on the actual player. Unlike the Morph mod you won't become a different animal.

So technically what I want is to change the model of the character every time you click a button (wrll, actually a few times. Not infinite times. )

I think I should clarify what
Sat, 08/22/2015 - 16:25

I think I should clarify what I am exactly doing. I am making a mod called Regeneration which is based on Doctor Who tv show. It is made to work with the Dalek Mod. What is supposed to happen is when you click the F key your skin will change to a different skin. In the process you will get regeneration 2 for a few minutes, strength II, Mining Fatigue, instant health, and nausea. After that in the chat it will tell you characteristics of the person you are. You also can only regenerate 13 times. Maybe more if I can make it work svery well with the Dalek mod. Everything except the skins changing and only 13 times is difficult. If you can help me with this that would be awesome.
