how to make a half block
Fri, 08/28/2015 - 19:02

Hi all,

I've made my first 2 blocks with MCreator. Thye are both 128 x 128 pixels.

I'm entering the dimensions as follows: 0,0,0,1,0.5(for Z),1.

This is as the instructions page says. But the block still shows as a full square.

Am I doing something wrong? I must be. Does the actual amount of pixels change what the dimesion info should be?

Another thing, the compiling of the mods is incredibly slow. I accept that it's complex and takes time. But is there any way of showing a progress bar? I have no idea how long MCreator is going to take, and even after 1 hour (AMD 6300FX 6 core, 8GB RAM) MCreator still says it's working, even though by that time I can load the zip into Minecraft and have it working.

Is there any way to get a better idea of what's happening in terms of compiling?

Thanks.

Rob.

I don't know about the half blocks, but I do know if you click console you can see what is going on. Even if you don't understand it, you may still be able to get an idea of what your doing.
