Help!
Mon, 10/19/2015 - 01:11

It won't let me upload my mod. I have an awesome mod I want to upload and then it says the file is too big. Does anyone know how to fix that? Lot's of people have mods that look like they exceed the 10 mb limit but I can't upload mine.

I don't know. I made a mod

I don't know. I made a mod with a little over 60 addons and I exported it as a .zip file. Maybe that's the problem because it wouldn't take it like a zip folder so I extracted it and it wanted to extract 29.9 mb of data. It was extremely weird. Maybe I need to save it as a .jar file.

@#3 No no no, keep it as a pure .zip folder. The .zip filetype is used to compress files to what seems like smaller sizes. You can still use your mod if it's in the .zip filetype. Both of my uplodaded mods are .zips. If it won't let you upload it, try redownloading it from your mcreator software without any spaces in the file name.

Hope this helps,

I tried but it keeps saying
Mon, 10/19/2015 - 20:51

I tried but it keeps saying the file is too big. I have like 7 different files of my mod because I keep trying to redownload them. I have also tried to choose what mods I export but that won't even work. It is really confusing. It keeps saying that the file has 29 mb stored in it and I can't find a way to fix that. If you know haw to make the file smaller, please tell me.
