Techne Block Modeling (MCreator 1.6.1)
Sat, 01/02/2016 - 01:48 (edited)

In previous versions, I recall an option to create a block with a Techne model. I don't see this option anymore.

Is there a way I can create a block with a techne model, (and if so, what is it?) or will I have to convert it to .obj format somehow instead?

Thanks!

Above is wrong. It is true

Above is wrong. It is true that techne is outdated. Minecraft 1.8 has implented a new file to install custom models for blocks. Techne has not been updated for ages so it could not add these new files to their saves. So people moved on to MrCrayFish and other model creators.

Techne can still be used to created mobs though.
