MCreator will not pass Set Up Process on Linux (BROWSE action not supported)

Upon starting up MCreator, the client gets no further than "Setting up forge" on linux.

This is what I see in the terminal

<code>

</code>

I am running Ubuntu Linux 16.04, with an XFCE4 desktop environment. Java version is OpenJDK 1.8.0_91

The "BROWSE action is not supported" seems to be the problem. MCreator must be trying to access an http link to download the needed the dependencies but it cannot do so, as this error states.

This should not stop MCreator
Sun, 06/12/2016 - 11:35

This should not stop MCreator from working. This just means that MCreator was not able to open the browser to show you what's next page. But the setup should work. Does MCreator just get stuck at this point or does something happen?

It just sits there at

It just sits there at "Setting up forge" I have tried running it in wine, and it actually starts fine, and I can tell that stuff is "kinda" working because the console shows some stuff running, I can even start making a mod, but it doesn't compile, export, or even launch minecraft, because well, it's wine... Running it in Linux shows nothing going on in the console. The Terminal goes as far as shown in my previous post, and it just sits there until I close it. Maybe it's a problem with Java?

I have exactly same problem.

I have Ubuntu 14.10 KDE.

After starting MCreator, it stucks at "Setting up Minecraft Forge MDK".

If I run ./gradlew setupDecomWorkspace from terminal, the build goes successfuly.

Since MCreator does not seem to generate any log, I cannot say where is the problem. I am not even sure that MCreator actualy calls ./gradlew.

Can I see what MCreator is doing and/or can do these steps manualy?
