I've been thinking about making a fruit mod and I want to know how do you make plants that grow like carrots or wheat in Minecraft.

In order to make growable
Thu, 10/27/2016 - 04:22

In order to make growable plants, first set the tick rate of all but the last stage of the plant to 400 for it to grow like a normal plant in Minecraft.

Ex: Stage 0, Stage 1, Stage 2, etc

Then where you see the option to set what happens with tick rate in that page, you make the stage of the plant remove itself and place the next stage until you have the last stage where it drops the item(s) and (potential) seeds you want it to drop. (Not sure how to associate with bone meal to make it quicker, but the higher the tick rate, the slower it is, the lower the tick rate the faster it is)

For seeds, go to the option where you right click the ground, go to the part that says "Add Block" and where it has 'j' put 'j + 1' so it doesn't place the plant under a block (unless you want that)

I hope this was useful and I hope your mod gets complete.
