How do I group certain blocks while making a mob?
Thu, 01/19/2017 - 01:18

Hello~

I would like to ask if there is any possible way to Group the blocks of a mob's model. I am making a hyena mob, so there's a long snout and ears. I tested out the hyena in the game and it acts just fine! My current concern is; Can I group the ears and/or snout with the main head so the ears and snout don't just float unattached while the head flies around? Or if I decide to make an animal with Separate feet, can I group it into the leg?? I would be very happy to know!

As far as I have discovered, the answer is no. Or rather, it is not obvious if you can. I wish techne had boolean operations like CAD, so you could just say "union these two blocks together as one" and then have that new fusion of blocks animate as the head or whatever.

If someone does know how to do it, let me know
