How to change block textures ingame?

Hi Everyone

So I have a machine in my mod that is working perfectly fine, expect for the part where it changes its texture. So how do I let the block change its texture after I enabled the machine by rightclicking it? (Like in RaolTheBest's Latest Mod)

You have to create multiple blocks or add multiple metadata values to your block. (From 1.8, you can use block states).
