Why can't I upload a custom armor texture from MCSkin3D?

Okay, so I was making a mod (I call it Spider Mod, because it's about Spiderman) and I had finished up the entire mod except the texture for the Spider suit (Which i wanted to have arms and not just the normal armor texture with different colors). I clicked "import armor texture" then selected the files i wanted, but when i applied it to the actual armor, the texture showed up but it wasn't centered with the outline. Parts of it (like the helmet) were not even in the outline of the rectangle boxes, and others were in the wrong boxes (like how the body and arms and legs were all in the legs box, and there was nothing in the helmet box). I'm so close to finishing, and I really want to, but this one road block is holding me back! Pls help if you have the answer, or even a guess.

You might have been using the biped (Steve) model in MCSkin3D, which can cause misaligned textures. You have to create an actual armor sprite in 2 files.
