The future and the past
This was all in a rush. Sorry for my irresponsibilities
Edit: I revised here, my first letter towards some of you
Dear MCreator users,
My name is ShockingArtist/notwill. I joined the community a year ago; I saw MCreator's glorious days; I met all the unique members, made friends, even went as far as becoming a moderator. MCreator ended, but the road trip will never end. Sadly, I decided this community is not for me anymore. I have recently been going through a hard time, schoolwork is though and I am having some problems with IRL relationships. Without the positions as a moderator, I will be able to sit back and relax more instead of spending large chunks of time trying to help out. I also feel like I already did all I could and there is nothing more I can help with.
Over the last year, I have been growing and growing. I have made friends with many of you, learned how to handle crazy situations, and more importantly, it gave me some unique experiences that I shall carry on into life. It's been a fascinating experience and I will cherish this journey.
Life is always about going out there and trying new things. Sure, you can stay in one place, never try anything new, but you'd be a pretty monotonous person for it. You need to go out there and try new things, find out all the things you do and don't like, make new friends, get new experiences. Life is all about how short it is, because it means you have to make every day count.
I will be leaving the modding world temporarily for one year. I will try to fix my personal life, try to learn java thoroughly and not just messing around pretending to be a programmer, learn the design principles and also try to transfer into the best high school in town. If I succeed in all of them, I promise I will see you all the same time, next year. (Sept 29th) I'm not saying I'll be coming back to writing wikis, batteling with vandalisms and voluntarily representing MCreator, odds are I probably won't be, and there's a bigger reason behind the scenes where I am not able to tell here.
At last, I want to thank the following people that are truly wonderful:
Klemen-You created this piece of art, so you deserve the most appreciation. You are just like a kind teacher, helping me out everytime I need support, and encouraging me when I am down.
CrispyChips-You are my mental supporter. Without you, I probably would not have lived the days with the criticism.
Goldorion-You are the most active moderator and is a key part of what made the whole team possible.
RollTye-You have helped me out with code a lot, and supported me throughout.
All of the Community-Every user is a part of this wonderful franchise, and you' all have provided me a growing-space
It was a good run. Thank you for your support. I want to let you know that, nothing is permanent and everything moves on. We will meet again soon. Very soon...
