Optifine with Minecraft 1.16.4?

I'm trying to add Optifine for forge 35.1.4 (minecraft version 1.16.4). I put the optifine mod in the mods folder inside the run folder. I re-ran Minecraft from MCreator but it doesn't show the mod in the mods list. Can anyone help me with this?
