How to make a hostile mob burn in daylight

Hello guys, i'm having a difficult time to create a procedure that makes hostile mobs (in this case a custom mob called Goblin) burn in daylight properly.

This is my procedure  My current procedure   ( https://prnt.sc/1tq2xy8 )

With this procedure, the mob does burn and gets damaged in daylight, but it does not get extinguished when in water or while it's raining.

Also, during the night time it still has the burning particles around it, but it does not get damaged.

Anyone know how to properly make a hostile mob burn in daylight? as there is no procedure template for this.

procedure: If location at X Y Z see the sky 

                     do if is day in the provided world

                           do set event/target entity on fire for 5

                          if is raining in the provided world

                           do extinguish event/target entity

                          if event/target entity in water

                            do extinguish event/target entity

with your procedure your basically saying to minecraft, "if my entity can see the sky, and it is day time, burn it. But if it can't see the sky and it is in water, extinguish it"

alright @RexCerv i tweaked it to make it look like the prodecure you wrote down, and it worked. thanks!

for anyone reading this in the future, this screenshot is of a procedure to make a mob burn in daylight, just as with zombies, skeletons, etc. (or just read what RexCerv commented.)

um, I am glad it worked, but I actually meant that everything should be inside of the If location at X Y Z can see the sky

and not inside of each other

you should test it to everything be inside of the first If block and not everything inside of the second If block, just to prevent future bugs

So i tried fiddling around with the OR statements to make it all more compact, but doing that gave me the visual bug again where mobs were burning during the night time without taking damage.

So i tried to revert back to how i had it initially where i no longer had the visual bug, but now it's back even tho i have the same procedure setup as before. im quite confused lol.

obviously im new to this, so im not sure what i did wrong or how to prevent the visual effects from happening, as they weren't present previously with the same procedure setup.

So i copied that, and now the mob gets damaged when in water or while its raining. thats not what i intended to happen, lol.

what im trying to do is make a mob burn (and thus take damage) while its daytime and theyre exposed to skylight.

unfortunate that there is no template for this scenario

okay so, after using my last 2 braincells i managed to change your "set damage" procedures into Extinguish Entity procedures.

Now for some reason the visual bug still appears, specifically at night.

yes correct. have it burn in daylight, but be extinguished when its raining or when its in water, like with vanilla zombies for example.
