DISCLAIMER:

Due to an error, this mod has been permanently discontinued as of 3/24/18. It will no longer be updated.

For a game called Minecraft, the underground is pretty boring.

Sure, we've got caves, dungeons, and a some mobs, but there's something missing.

Tons of ores, of course!

AllTheOres is a mod meant to spice up the underground and make mining more exciting by adding, hence the name, as many ores as possible, and eventually some cool structures.

But what kind of ores will you be adding? Well, I'll start out by adding metals, like Copper and Aluminum, which have already been added. After that, I'll add Alloys, like Brass, Steel and Bronze, which are metals crafted from two or more other metals. Then, I'll add gemstones, like Amethyst, Sapphire and Ruby. Finally, after all that's done, I'm going to add mythical ores, like Mithril, Orichalcum and Adamantium.

As of now, in the mod are four new ores - Copper, Aluminum, Tin and Zinc. They all spawn commonly in the world, in around the same amount as iron, and they all have blocks that actually look good! *cough* gold block *cough*

so far, the following has been fully implemented:

-Copper Ore

-Copper Ingot

-Copper Block

-Fancy Copper Block (Crafted with a Copper Block in the center of the crafting grid)

-Copper Armor

-Copper Tools

-Copper Verdigris (Created by right-clicking a Copper or Fancy Copper Block with a Water Bucket)

-Aluminum Ore

-Aluminum Ingot

-Aluminum Block

-Fancy Aluminum Block (Crafted with an Aluminum Block in the center of the crafting grid)

-Aluminum Armor

-Aluminum Tools

-Tin Ore

-Tin Ingot

-Tin Block

-Fancy Tin Block (Crafted with a Tin Block in the center of the crafting grid)

-Zinc Ore

-Zinc Ingot

-Zinc Block

-Fancy Zinc Block (Crafted with a Zinc Block in the center of the crafting grid)

Copper Armor and Tools are just below Iron in durability and efficiency, and are between Iron and Gold in enchantability.

Aluminum Armor and Tools are hilariously weak - more weak than Gold - since Aluminum is a very malleable metal in real life. Also, unlike Gold, they have virtually no enchantability. Don't waste your time on crafting them.

Tin and Zinc don't have armor and tools, since they're weak metals in real life, but they will be needed to make Brass and Bronze in the future.

(Known) Bugs:

-Copper Blocks, Verdigris and Ore cannot be destroyed by TNT

-Blocks cannot be placed directly onto Copper Blocks (not Verdigris) unless you sneak

I will fix these bugs as soon as possible.

Future Features: (Discontinued)

-Lots of metals

-Lots of alloys

-Lots of gemstones

-Marble (possibly)

-Underground Structures

Seems like my mod would go pretty good with your mod in a modded survival. Also, love the new update! Aluminium!

How about tin? It's also a basic metal :)

I want to download but Minecraft crashes when I install

Huh, it didn't crash for me when I tried. It might be incompatible with a mod or mods that you also have installed. I know it's not incompatible with Magicery, since I just tried it and it worked fine. Try removing any other mods you have downloaded and downloading it again. If it still doesn't work, I'll put up a new download.
