Hello! This mod is about the backrooms, if you couldn't tell by the title, but nonetheless, a personal favorite creepypasta (or whatever it is) of mine. The backrooms have really fascinated me for the longest time, and I've just got around to making a mod about this. This is my interpretation of the backrooms, so if you don't agree with me, give some suggestions! Feedback is how I get better at modding, y'all give ideas, and I tend to them

This mod is on curseforge!

What this will plan on having:

Levels -4-8 ~✔(-2-3) (After this core mod is done, I will work on a side mod, for the extra levels)

Level 9007199254740992 (after I get good at modding)

The End

The Hub

The Whiteout

The Basement

A fully functional sanity feature (but later tho)

And maybe (if you wait long enough) ill make some "Minecraft specific" levels... who knows.... (really just random stuff I find interesting)

Follow the project here:

Right now this has:

Level 0 (in 1.0)

Level 1 (in 1.1)

Level 2 (in 1.2)

The Hub (in 1.4)

Level -1 (in 1.5)

Level -2 (in 1.6) (delete dimensions 21313, 672762, 54672, and 37652 if they exist  in your world save when updating from 1.5)

Level 3 (in 1.8)

What are the backrooms?

"If you're not careful and you noclip out of reality in the wrong areas, you'll end up in the Backrooms, where it's nothing but the stink of old moist carpet, the madness of mono-yellow, the endless background noise of fluorescent lights at maximum hum-buzz, and approximately six hundred million square miles of randomly segmented empty rooms to be trapped in
God save you if you hear something wandering around nearby because it sure as hell has heard you" - 4chan

This is my source wiki.

What about the Minecraft backrooms?

(as of 1.8.0)

You can find fake dirt, diorite, and andesite. If you fall into it, you end up in level 0!

Level -2

Similar to the end, you want to look for level 1 portals to get back to safety.

Level -1

A long hallway, doors leading to levels -2, 0, and, 2

Level 0

Main backrooms. Find darker walls and walk into them. You'll end up in either level -1, the overworld, or level 1.

Cardboard Boxes. Open them to find the staff of backrooms. Shift right-click to go to the hub. Right-click on wool to turn it into the mystic carpet.

Level 1

Like level 0, but brick, and concrete. find elevators and right-click to go to level 2.

Level 2

Long hallway, pipes, directions. Find an exit that leads to either home or level 3.

Level 3

Long brick hallways with pipes lining the ceiling. Find an elevator to go to level 2 (this will eventually be level 5). Doors line the walls that you can't escape from

The Hub

Can access the overworld, levels 0, 1, and 2.

Modpack permission?

Go ahead. I don't mind, just keep in mind that there could be some TPS issues on servers. Subscribe to my YouTube if you want.
