A time so long ago, so long that no-one has ever heard this legend before, lived an Ancient Race. Their name was long forgotten, this race lived in the Sky. They flourished for ages until a great darkness came across the land. It originated from the Permavoid, a place so dark, no one could be down there unless they wished to die. The Ancient Race was forced to flee. They scattered across the land, seeking refuge in the mountains and forests.The darkness followed them, consuming all in its path. The Ancient Race was forced to fight for their survival, but they failed to defeat the darkness. They eventually faded into obscurity, their legacy forgotten.
Recently, this was discovered in a long abandoned mineshaft along with some never before seen metal, and a key. We believe someone, or something has lived above the Overworld. Our top scientists are working to figure out how to gain access to the Sky mentioned in the Legend, but no-one has found anything yet.
