...rather than having to make a separate recipe element. Not much info needed here.

We will remove recipe option in the elements and only support separate recipes as most of the users said they prefer this way in order to be this more clear. This was already discussed a lot.

Fair enough, I would actually prefer not having it separate but its not the end of the world i guess.

Could you give me a link to where this was discussed?
