Issue description

Changing environment variables didn't help! Deleting the native folder didn't help! Run as administrator does not help and a reinstall too! What to do?

Issue comments

Go to your user home folder, go into .mcreator/gradle and remove folder native. After you do this, try to open MCreator again. It could also be that you don't have sufficient permissions.

Check these pages if you need more technical details. This is a Gradle related issue.

You might want to try to run MCreator as administrator. Try searching for fixes for Gradle too, as this bug is not caused by MCreator directly but by an issue from gradle.

I want to use the new version (1.7.8) but it doesn't work

What to do?

Klemen help me, please!

Doing what I wrote would also fix it, but I am glad to hear you managed to fix it this way.

i have this problem

in gradle i dont have any files, this folder is empty

please help

When I'm deleting folder "native", MCreator is recreating it. I don't know, what to do.

Maybe you can just send link with file in "native-platform.dll.lock"?

This is expected for MCreator to recreate it. Make sure to turn off offline mode so MCreator can update its contents with up-to-date version.

Sorry for all my actions. I couldn't understand what means "rename user". Then I understood and tried. I changed name of my root folder (it wasn't in English language), using admin account. Then my user account wasn't able to work... I was having to change all string parameters with path to old name of this folder to new name in registr editor. And when I finished MCreator started to work normally. Thanks for trying to help)
