.json model has broken textures
Tue, 01/07/2020 - 12:27 (edited)

Hello,

i have problems with 4 recent .json models. They are all bigger than 1 block, but earlier i had no problems with bigger models. Two models are for a banana plant with/without fruits and other two-for another plant with/without fruits. All were made at the same time on the base of the the first pitahaya model, but i changed a lot for a banana.I'm using MrCrayfish model creator, angles for model parts  must be right(this program seems to not allow other angles).I don't understand what's wrong with them.

Console tab in MCreator says absolutely nothing after the game loads, and i'm doing any stuff ingame...

so i have to post them as links :

I hope anyone could help.

EDIT:

I changed trunk texture to 16*32 and the trunk separetly renders right. But as soon as I add leaves (also 16*32 plains at 22,5 and 45 angles up from the trunk) it fails...

Well,I found that MCreator doesn't accept 16*32 textures for blocks or their parts sometimes  :/ They become stretched or broken.

And the model higher than 2 blocks doesn't render for me too.

For these plants i had to make small (2blocks height) and simple models.

The Blockbench 3D modeling tool is a lot better and is a lot more versatile if you want to try it.

Umm, minecraft accepts only equal textures for example 16x16, 32x32, 40x40

Also minecraft accepts,…

Also minecraft accepts, unless modified, blocks that have 3x3x3 block size in any direction and specific angle points also the reason why your block can only be 2 blocks tall is because its height starts from minus coordinate and usually cmodel block is started from y0 so to make it you need to put one block below and change its minimum bounding box to Y-1 and max to Y+2 to make it 3 blocks tall

Blockbench have good grid that displays max size of block and limits its dirrections

Ok,thanks! An Interesting thing about negative values in bounding box, maybe i'll try it later!I installed Blockbench also, but for me it seems to be hard to use and MCrayfish program is much more comfortable.
