"This mod does not have a saved instance."

When I open up my workspace, I see all of the elements for my mod, but I can't edit them or anything. There are also no icons, and when I try to edit them or anything it just says: "This mod does not have a saved instance. If you want to make it editable, you need to remake it." ALL of my elements are unresponsive like this. What I'm making is a huge mod, and I'd prefer to NOT have to redo everything. I am still able to create new elements, but the ones already in place are completely unresponsive. Please help!

You should not freely move .mcreator files. Keep the workspace structure as is or you risk destroying your workspace.
