Make sure you have selected the custom lava in the Fluid Block for dimension. Maybe you need to add a dimension to "Generate lakes of this fluid in". If it's not the case, try to re-export your mod. If it still doesn't work maybe try updating your MCreator if you haven't. Maybe it's because of the 1.14 Forge fluid problem.
And also when you generate the dimension, are the lava lakes replaced with air? Or with something else?
Just make the custom fluid block your lava.

The lava is has no spawn location your right! Also lakes didnt work already tested
