Hello there,
I try to do a simple furnace and it don't want to work,
i watched a lots of tutirials, i've used template furnace procedure but with all of that it won't work...
Please help ! =D
What you have to do to make a Furnace Procedure is you have to make a new procedure and call it FurnaceUpdateTick. Then go into the procedure and click Templates. You click furnace and drag the jumble of coding to the main green block. There should be 5 slots. In the 1st slot, put your fuel item. I recommend coal or charcoal. In the 2nd slot you put your uncooked item. In the 3rd slot you put your cooked item. In the 4th slot you put air. And in the 5th slot you put your cooked item in again. Repeat that process without making new procedures to add more recipes to your furnace.
Thanks, i'll try that the only thing that i didn't do is put air !
so how do you keep it from smelting items machine gun style?
Nope it didn't work too...I would like too cook a custom ore with iron ingots....but i don't know what i did wrong

Nobody Have an idea ?
Do you have comparator output data on for your furnace? If you do have it on, try turning it off.
You need to set the tick rate to a higher level. 20 ticks is one second. Example: Set it to 60 ticks to have it smelt for 3 seconds.
Valedias, make sure that you put normal air in the slot and not cave air or void air.
Slot 16!?!? Your GUI does not have 16 slots. The player's inventory slots are not included in this, if that's what you were trying to do. Also, if you want a cooldown you can use either local or NBT variables to store the cooldown. (The variable starts at 100, and decrements by 1 every tick until it reaches zero, then you fire your smelting procedure, set it back to 100, and repeat).
You MUST also have Tile Entity Data enabled and select the right number of slots! (on your last picture)
Don't forget to turn turn off drop items from inventory when broken.
