Item not showing up in game

Item not showing up in game

Hey,

So I currently working on a mod and I want to add a helmet with a custom java 3D model that looks like fox ears

Fox ear 3D model in blockbench

 

After creating the 3D model I've created and armor helmet with the 3D model

MCCreator window showing the creation of an helmet with a 3D model

 

However, when the try and test it it simply does not show up in the game

 

 

I've searched 'fox' in the inventory as the item is named 'Fox Ears'

 

Trying to /give the item

 

I don't understand why this append D: (I'm using MCCreator 2020.2)

 

Any idea of what's happening / how to fix ?
