I am starting on a mod that's not ready for download yet. The mod is meant to make players need to use tools to mine wood. Also there will be a way to make tools before wood.

I believe you cant edit existing minecraft assets with mcreator, only by coding it.

It might be just me, but I sorta recall that might be added sometime soon?? I don't remember.
maybe I could use blocks that look like logs as a different way also blocks that look like leaves. The mod is going to work best in survival.
The mod is inspired by Sevtech Ages, I would just play Sevtech but my pc doesn't have enough memory for it.
And I don't like the blood magic mod. So I am creating my own version with just one mod. It will be 1.15 and later 1.16 also it won't be perfect since Sevtech is 270 mods. Currently I only have some procedures and plant twine and I am starting on flint tools. Also rocks spawn randomly. And I am not touching any recipes. Lastly, I am going to add planets also I am starting with the basic items first then the rest slowly and I don't know how to add custom crafting tables.
I will try my best to add custom crafting tables and custom machines.
I found a way to stop players from mining: every time a player breaks a block they take some damage. I also will make a mod page soon after I release the beta. If this was on x life everyone would be in the 8 heart gang
I also have flint tools which are made using plant twine and flint and a rock (rocks are a item like in sevtech!)
I don't know if just dealing damage to the player is a good method;

I tried that and mcreator didn't seem to accept the code and everytime I went to run client it said the the element didn't make sense. Then again last time I tried using code from a forum it wouldn't work either.
I will be learning how to code in java for awhile. My mods probably won't be updated for awhile since I will be coding. Bye
When player left clicks block if get block in players hand is air, cancel event that trigger global trigger.
