Topic category: Feature requests and ideas for MCreator
So there is a new element and procedure, element looks something like this: https://imgur.com/a/ol1hxCj. And you can put models into it to play around and make it so you have to do it per frame,
procedure that plays the animations: If entity damages another one do animation {Animation}, if entity falling do animation {Animation}, if entity walk do animation {Animation} etc...
Why?
the current mob and item animations are wayyyy too empty, only way to make custom animations is to edit the code.

i am 100% sure this is possible and it hopefully its easy to make so mods don't have to suffer and we get it in 2020.5
Mods don't suffer without custom animations though.
Wdym?
Do you wanna say it isnt necesary?
I'm saying custom animations aren't needed.
Only way to make an custom model attack is by switching its model data to biped which i think it isnt even possible, custom animations can be used for alot of stuff actually.
Lets say, you make an entity that has a sword, its waaay to plain if the enity just walks into you and knocks you back, if we had custom animations we could add a swipe animation i guess.
Damn im sorry, when i menat "mods wont suffer" i meant moderators for mcreator.
lol
I've been wanting custom animations for such a long time, and I have mobs in my mod which I can't fully capture the idea of without custom animations (falling outside of the bounds of "just make it a biped lol" or the MCreator animation import thing).
Also, probably more people want this than not so +1 from me
I indeed want ways to make custom animations in mcreator, a built in software would be helpful, but even just support for importing your own model animations would be helpful
What if I told you, I have a solution! Look over here at my wonderful and easy tutorial: https://mcreator.net/forum/66357/feders-geckolib-plugin-tutorial?page=1…
