I created a very simple mob that used the standard biped model and a slightly modified (color only) texture for diffuse and emissive. Nothing major.
I plugged them in, mob spawned, everything was working.
Then the glow map stopped working. Nothing changed with its file or its textures. I've reimported/reapplied the textures to the mob but nothing works. Is this a known issue? I have a second mob that was created in the exact same way, and its glow map still works. I've checked the texture on the broken mob a dozen times. It's all there, intact, not corrupt, not missing or mistaken for another.
Thanks for any help!

I'm not sure how else to troubleshoot this. Things I've tried:
Reimporting the texture
Using a different texture
Reimporting the texture from different file formats
Deleting then reimporting all textures
Recreating the Entity anew
The texture is just a modified version of the Zombie texture. Since I used an existing texture as a template, I don't believe this is a resolution or image-formatting issue.
I'd appreciate any suggestions!
If another mob works, try removing this one and recreating it. But really strange why the glow is gone suddenly. Based on this:
Check console logs for warnings on texture format too.
