didn't work like what?

if you're talking about not being able to be implemented in MCreator:

  • at the creation of the model, select json (not sure what it's called, block/item model or something)
  • after modelling it, export it as json and make sure the extension is json.

if you're talking about broken-looking model or confusing inputs:

  • make sure you separate the model into bones (or groups, but i like bones better), then name them according to the parts.
  • the texture inputs in MCreator should now have your bones' names, select the textures you want for each bone

  1. open blockbench
  2. select item/block model
  3. make a model
  4. give it a texture
  5. export json block model
  6. export png texture
  7. import png texture to mcreator as block texture
  8. import json block to mcreator and use png texture as texture mapping
  9. make a block element
  10. select your json block model and use png texture as bottom/main

it works :-P
