I want to make a mod for minecraft version 1.8.0, but I don't know if the new versions of MCriator are compatible, what should I do to make a mod for older versions of minecraft in MCreator?
No, they are not. If you are interested, you can write a plugin for 1.8.0 however. This might be a good starting point if you go this route: https://github.com/Pylo/MCreatorGenerator-forge-1.12.2
But you can't release a version of MCreator that already contains all versions of minecraft, so people like me will have how to make their mods better, for example, my computer is weak and that's why I use the older versions of minecraft to he doesn’t give a problem of forcing. You understand what I'm talking about.
No, I can't.
This would take thousands of hours of work from my side to support all versions and I can not do this for free and for a hobby. I have other things in life to do too.

I open-sourced all this so people like you can help.
