Blockbench is a great modeling tool for making models... Including Minecraft Models!
- Download Blockbench from their website. This download is safe, so don't worry :)
- Open the Launcher exe and start it.
- File has stuff like Project naming, new model, saving and more.
- Create a new model.
- Edit includes the stuff for the creating, so start by adding a Cube.
- You have 4 modes for Cube Editing, but we will use only the Cube Moving and Cube Scaling modes. They do what they say.
- Theres a small thing with textures. You can use it to test, for example, f800f8 blank texture and 000000 blank texture (These are color codes, click the frame cube icon to add a blank texture) (also these are the colors of a missing texture)
- Touch and drag the colors to a face of the model/the cube screen to add the color.
- Finished? Save it!
- Load it.
- Put textures.
- Hope its not wrong and the order is the order of the cubes you made,
- Do other normal MCreator settings.
- Load the game and test.
- If wrong, change the texture order. If right, congrats!

I have a question. Is there any way to set particles with Blockbench? I have been searching for a bit but have not found anything. Thanks!
Yah, suddenly block bench has stopped working for me. All my models created are now cubes with error textures.
How do i assign the textures? I made a mining helmet with a light and it uses "grass_path_top.png" "anvil.png" and "beacon.png". How do i make it so i can put all 3 into the texture mapping.. actually, how do i even get the texture mapping from the model? Please respond i'm completely lost..
I have a similar problem with blockbench.
I can only have one texture and when I make another it just deletes the other one.
I have tried importing textures but they still don't work
How can I get my mob to have multiple uvs so that I can make it look better?
I found a way around the uv limitation.
When you are making the model parameters set the model dimensions to something large such as 100x100 this way when you make a texture you can make it 100x100 (It has to be the same as the model size due to the fact that if it wasn't a single cube you made would have multiple squares on it) and then there you have it. A model that has a super large UV with all the cubes being with a respective place in the UV. Sorry if this isn't super clear but I hope it helps.
Thanks,
Shadow
Is this in MCreator or in blockbench?
If it's in MCreator when you are making the mob you can adjust it's hitbox to hit your mob. Other wise... IDK
Thanks,
Shadow
I will try to make a better guide now that Blockbench changed a lot.
so i'm using blobkbench and when i use a obj model its always screwed up and most of the model is missing and its positioned wrong. Help.
al east your model shows up
Question, how do I make a texture that works for the entire model and not as a symetric texture for all the cubes? (Like the way most mob textures are designed)
Hey, I'm having some trouble with models connecting to textures. Whenever I export a model and the textures, and connect it all to a carrot on a stick, I try the resource pack,I Normal item.
I tried but the block is too big i did a 16x16x16 square with dots on top
hi im tiky. can i please have a tutorial about how to use this site? because i'm kinda new.
can custom animations be put into my mob?
