I was about to release my mod when I saw in the workspace settings, a field that said 'Mod license'. 'All rights reserved', 'Not specified', 'Custom license', 'MIT License', etc. what is this feature used for?
1.16.4 mods require license to be specified
so I need to use one for my mods now? If yes, then I don't know which one to choose.

I just want to mod for minecraft, I can't decide, what is the most popular choice?
I just chose an MIT License since it seemed like the simplest.
