I am unable to make it where that, if you are breaking a log without an axe in hand, it will not break. The tag has all custom and vanilla logs listed, yet it is not working. Please help!

Are you sure you are using block tags and not item tags?
try changing minecraft: to <mod name>:, replacing <mod name> with your mods name
Yes, I'm positive. I'm going to change the namespace to my mods name.
